Ojai’s City Hall is surrounded by 8 acres of natural areas, gardens and other land uses. The Ojai Valley Green Coalition has contracted with the City of Ojai to produce a master plan for the campus. Next steps include further gathering of community input on how this campus could one day become an even greater cultural, ecological and educational amenity for the City and beyond.
A series of community gatherings in 2023-24 resulted in a clear direction: that this site should be a place for nature-based activities, including workshops, classes, educational demonstrations and gatherings.
